Gardening in California FTW. The large polo-wearing creature lumbering past the immense tomato foliage is my father. He is harvesting tomato worms to eat with fava beans. One thing I love about California is the ability to have great produce. This harvest, which you cannot really tell, I planted WAY TOO MANY tomatoes, and we had a kick ass summer, so everybody got tomatoes. I am a fan of heirlooms and romas. Heirlooms are so fucking pretty you never want to eat them. Romas go great in pastas or salads or pastasalads. Gardening, the most hippie thing about me.
